Hario V60 (02)Updated 3 days ago

Manufactured by the Japanese company Hario, the “V60” in the name refers to the shape (V) and the angle of slope (60°). The V60 has a couple of features that make it different from other pour over methods:

  • Curved grooves. The intention of these is to create motion during the brewing process, providing agitation and even extraction.
  • A relatively large opening. V60 grind size is generally slightly finer to slow the flow of water.

Don't be afraid to alter this recipe to make it your own! You should enjoy your coffee, however you brew.
