Flash brew, a Japanese iced coffee features a unique brewing technique that combines hot water and ice to instantly cool down the coffee as it brews, resulting in a crisp, vibrant flavor profile. Specs:

  • Servings: 1
  • Coffee: 20g
  • Grind: Medium-Fine
  • Water: 200g
  • Water Temp: 200-205°F
  • Ice: 100g
  • Ratio: 1:15
  • Brew Time: 2:40-3:20 min


Instructions:

  1. Heat water to temp (205°F)
  2. Add ice to V60 carafe
  3. Prepare V60 filter - pre-wet then discard water
  4. Place the prepared brewer with filter on to the ice-filled carafe
  5. Add ground coffee to filter and level
  6. Start timer then pour 60g water to bloom - stir and let steep 40 seconds
  7. At 0:40 - Pour to 120g
  8. At 1:20 - Pour to 200g
  9. Discard spent grinds & filter, gently swirl carafe and serve over ice
  10. Enjoy and let us know how it turns out!
