Fellow's Aiden Precision Coffee Maker is an electric coffee maker whose resulting brew is made to resemble a pour over. This machine controls temperature, timing, and water flow to brew single cups or full carafes.
We recommend beginning with the default “Medium Roast” setting, as it produces very high extractions that are well-suited for a variety of roast levels. Please keep in mind that this recipe is designed to slightly limit extraction for a result that is sweet and balanced.
Don't be afraid to alter this recipe to make it your own! You should enjoy your coffee, however you brew.
Notes:
- Ensure your brewer is on a level surface before brewing.
- Adjust grind setting as needed.
- Use cool/room temperature filtered water.
- Stir the coffee well after it brews.
- The higher the temperature and the more pulses you have, the higher the extraction will be. A high extraction isn't inherently a bad thing, but our coffees are generally soluble enough that you don't need an aggressive extraction.
- For a larger yield, extend to a 60 second bloom and 3-4 main pulses.
