AeroPressUpdated 3 days ago
The AeroPress has become popular for use with some of the best specialty coffee, and was, in fact, created by toy manufacturer Aerobie (we take this as a reminder that we should be having fun with coffee!). This brew method combines filter brewing with full immersion, as well as the addition of manual pressure.
Coffee brews in a plastic chamber, and is then forced by a plunger to pass through a paper filter at the end of the chamber. AeroPress brews a more concentrated cup than most filter methods, producing a clear cup of coffee - akin to the espresso-based Americano - making it a perfect brew method for tasting the nuances a particular coffee selection has to offer.
Don't be afraid to alter this recipe to make it your own! You should enjoy your coffee, however you brew.
